AdPlace, Print Suppliers and the Environment
Printing partner assessed to Environmental Standards ISO 14001: 2004
AdPlace is very happy to promote the use of print suppliers who refine their processes to minimise waste. One key partner separates waste into seventeen distinct streams for easy recycling or reprocessing. And prior to recycling, all of the waste paper is compacted to minimise transport requirements. Also, printing plates are recycled and there is a responsible attitude to the disposal of chemicals, all helping to save the environment.
As an alternative to waste packaging, vegetable-based inks are pumped directly from drums, rather than delivered from smaller cartridges. Also, all packaging is produced from bleached board and where possible, the packaging you have to dispose of is reduced.
Many jobs are printed on 100% recycled paper and all pulp is sourced from well managed forests. Plus the amount of recycled and FSC approved papers used has increased. Where possible, the rest of the paper stock is made from wood pulp which is Elemental Chlorine Free (ECF).
All part of working with print suppliers and Caring for the Environment.
